By the end of the night, it was revealed B.o.B. and Sage the Genimi will be headlining the show. Az Sinadinos works to unravel a ball of cling wrap during Program Board’s artist reveal party in Kulhavi Events Center on Central Michigan University’s campus in Mount Pleasant, Mich. on Feb 24th, 2023. Clues about the performers of this year’s spring concert are tucked into the ball. Coy Lakatos, one of Program Board’s special events directors, assistsMiranda Green, the organization’s concert director, with putting together theconcert. “Everyone loves music in some shape or form…and being able to bring that tothe campus is really exciting,” said Lakatos. Lakatos hopes that the event will get more students invested in the upcomingconcert. “The reveal party is a super fun idea to get more people involved and havemore of a surprise factor to it.” Program Board’s president, Maezie Ervin, shares Lakatos’s excitement inbringing a large-scale event to campus. This will be the second in-person concert since the pandemic started in 2020.Ervin is expecting a large turnout for this year’s event. “I think because of where we are at as a campus and as a society along withthe artist choice, we will get a pretty big crowd in.” Ervin hopes the concert will be a fun stress reliever as the spring semesterwinds down. “I definitely think it’s something our students are not going to want tomiss.” The concert will be on March 24th at 8 p.m. in Finch Fieldhouse. Ticketswill be $15. More information can be found on Program Board’s Instagram page.
