January 30, 2026 Campus, Campus Life, College Living, Community, Events, People, Student Lifestyle, Students Winter MainStage Story and photos by: Beth Nocerini Students were able to connect with a variety of groups across campus at MainStage on Friday, January 30, in the basement of the SAC. A new addition was added to MainStage this year in hopes to accommodate more students. A sensory friendly time between 1:30-2 p.m. was set and RSOs were told to not play music. This offered a more inclusive space for students as MainStage can be loud with multiple groups playing music at the same time. Some of the RSOs with booths were, Moore Media Records Knitted Nonsense TCG Club Lego Club Pre- OT Club Along with meeting and connecting with others, students could also watch a variety of performances by RSOs across campus. Students quickly gathered to cheer for the electric and high energy performances the RSOs were giving. Ballet Folklórico de la Luz was one of the RSOs who performed. ReaXtioN was another group who performed. Set aside in a quieter room was the CMU blow up chair that is commonly found at events around campus. Macire Fofana and Bobur Almamatov are freshmen and have not joined an RSO yet. They were both excited and hoping to find an RSO involving soccer to join. Arylon Wilks and Tiara Cherry are both seniors and were taking a break from being at their RSOs booths. In the same room you could find a blow-up basketball game where sophomore Kyle Jacob and freshman Mason Thomas were taking a break from being at their fraternities table. Also in the room was a blow-up ax-throwing set for students to use.
