April 27, 2011 Arts & Entertainment, Events, Music Local Event: Annual Rock-N-Reggae Bash, April 30 Rock-N-Reggae Bash 22 begins at 10 a.m. on April 30 It’s that time of year. The weather is breaking, homework is dwindling – and students are ready to celebrate. Luckily for the students of Central Michigan, Salt River Acres will be hosting the 22nd Annual Reggae-N-Rock Bash, April 30. In past years, “Reggaefest”, as it’s known by the locals, has been an outdoor event of release. Students have visited the same site for more than two decades, as music styles come and go – and return again. (The beer remains consistent.) This year’s show will be no exception. A dynamic mix of artists will headline Saturday’s 12-hour event. Here is the lineup. Macpodz The Dirty Americans Afterhours Experience featuring Donald Kinsey Back Forty Vitamin G Hullabaloo The Deep End Today is your last chance to purchase tickets via ticket outlets. The show costs $25 with advance purchase. Saturday is projected to be sunny, and in the low 70s all day. Enjoy the reggae! For those driving themselves, here are directions. Please drink responsibly. The venue encourages attendees to use nearby taxi services. 1-989-779-TAXI – 779 Taxi 1-989-773-6900 – Chip Cab
