April 17, 2016 Drinks, Drinks, Food & Beverage, Recipes #SundaySwirl: Four Musketeers Smoothie We all know about the chocolate candy bar called Three Musketeers, right? Well, we’re here to introduce you to a new bunch called “Four Musketeers.” Their names are banana, peanut butter, chocolate and coffee, which are obviously the main ingredients to this decadent smoothie. Sometimes (OK, all the time) we just want to satisfy that chocolate craving, but with something a little healthier than a candy bar. (And I mean something other than that dreaded dark chocolate stuff that everyone claims is good for you – yuck!) So, if you like those four ingredients and want a taste of this flavor-packed quartet, then this is the smoothie recipe for you. Ingredients: ¾ cup almond milk (or milk of your choice) ½ cup cold coffee or coffee ice cubes 1 frozen banana 1 tablespoon cocoa powder 1 tablespoon peanut butter Pinch of salt Directions: Combine the first four ingredients in a blender and blend. Add in the peanut butter and salt, then blend until smooth. This recipe is sure to satisfy that chocolate craving and add a little kick to your day, while you cram for exams. Also, it is so much healthier than the candy bar, but just as delicious! Did you enjoy this recipe? Let us know via Twitter using the hashtag #SundaySwirl
