March 23, 2016 College Life, Lifestyle, Students You Can Finally Get Taco Bell Delivered With this App Buffalo Wild Wings, Taco Bell and Panda Express – All great restaurants with one similar, irritating flaw – no delivery. However, for the students of Central Michigan University this flaw has finally been solved through a service called EnvoyNow. Dorm or apartment, Buffalo Wild Wings or Panda Express, your food will finally be brought to your doorstep. The food delivery service recently started up at CMU on Jan. 25, and since then the company has continued to expand. “We currently have 43 Envoys (drivers),” Growth Marketing Manager and Fenton sophomore Alexis Richards said. “Our main focus right now is just to get the word out to everyone.” How it works: A student orders from a selection of restaurants (currently eight) The EnvoyNow driver is alerted The driver goes to the restaurant, orders and delivers the food to the students’ residency Simple enough, right? EnvoyNow currently serves 30 universities across the nation, including Michigan State University and the University of Michigan. The company started up only two years ago by two college students who attended the University of Southern California. At CMU, EnvoyNow runs from 6 p.m. to 11:40 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 11:40 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 11:40 p.m. on Sunday. So far, those that are aware of the company are enjoying the services provided. “I read that the slogan of the company is ‘The Official Sponsor of College Munchies’” Marysville junior Brock King said. “And that’s the perfect description, don’t even have to leave my place for some T-Bell.” “I have fallen in love with this app! It is fantastic after a long day of classes and work, to be able to get what I want without having to go back out.” Grand Rapids freshman Bailey MacDonald said. “Only downside is that there is no app for Android phones.” To learn more about EnvoyNow, visit the site.
