Craft Beer of the Week: Winter Cheers

The first day of spring has come and gone and Michigan is still seeing flurries in the weather forecast.

We never thought we’d be looking forward to April showers, right? But that’s exactly what we’re raising our glasses to with Victory Brewing Company’s Winter Cheers. This brew is fitting for any occasion (no matter what the weather).

This Hefeweizen-style beer has a hint of sweetness that shines through, with some added floral notes from the Tettnang and Citra hops that are added in. Just one sip of this golden wheat ale and thoughts of scraping your car’s windshield are instantly in the past.

Winter Cheers clocks in at 6.7 percent alcohol by volume and is available in 12-ounce bottles and on draft at select locations. Grab some friends and toast to another Michigan spring – and let the countdown to summer begin!
