Events to Get You Through Finals Week

This week is final exam week. Which means long study hours in the library and little to no sleep. It’s a challenging time trying to study and complete projects for multiples classes, sometimes we forget to just relax.Thankfully, there’s a lot of events taking place on and off campus, that you can get involved in and relieve some that stress.

Tuesday:

  • Hot Yoga

The Mt. Pleasant Hot Yoga studio will be featuring their early bird special at  6 a.m. Start your morning off with a relaxing mediation before diving into exams for only $5. 

  • Student Animation Screening

Broadcasting students will be hosting their first animation screening in Wightman 142 at 8 p.m. BCA students are showcasing their semester-long animation projects. This screening will be an exciting one, so grab some popcorn, bring a friend and enjoy the show.

Wednesday:

  • Rock Out Stress

Adventure Seminars will be giving you a chance to climb your way out of stress. This event includes rock climbing, arts & crafts, yoga, and adorable puppies to relieve some of that stress of finals week. Taking place at 12-5 p.m.

  • Wine Down Wednesdays

Who needs to struggle through hump day when you can sip on with wine Wednesdays?Thanks to Camille’s new deal, you have the chance to power through the rest of your week.  Wednesday between 5-9 p.m.

Camille’s on the River will feature five different bottles of wine for only $15 per bottle. Their selection varies from Pinot Noir, Merlo, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon

Thursday

  • Campus Grow

Campus Grow is giving every student a chance to join the campus community garden. Open registration has began to rent a plot in the garden of flowers and herbs. Being apart of the community garden is great opportunity to take a break from studying and become sustainable on campus as well.

Friday

  • Rubbles

CMU Final 80’s Bash With Miranda and the M80s is the ultimate celebration of the year. You have made it to the end of the week, and now its time to let loose. Doors will open at 10 p.m. where students can enjoy live music and lots of drinks before saying goodbye to Spring semester and hello to Summer.
