September 14, 2015 Style, Trend and Beauty Makeup Monday: How to Achieve Bold and Beautiful Brows Perhaps, one of the hardest things to master when it comes to your daily makeup routine is your eyebrows. From achieving symmetry to making them look natural, getting a perfectly shaped and styled brow can definitely be a challenge. But if you’re looking for bold and beautiful brows, follow this step-by-step tutorial. Step One: Instead of going straight for your brow pencil, first you must prep your brows. Decide on the shape you’d like your brows to take. Next, make sure to remove any products from your brows with makeup remover. After, tweeze any unwanted hair outside of this shape, making sure not to over-pluck. Step Two: Now, grab your pencil. We used Cover Girl’s Brow Shaper in the shade of soft brown. For this step, it’s important to avoid using too much product, which can make your brows look overdone. Instead, lightly feather the pencil over any areas you’d like to fill in. Start from the inner part of your brow and move outward. Repeat this step on the other brow. Step Three: While this step isn’t always needed, it’s good to have an option for touch-ups. A quick fix for any mistakes made with the pencil is to take a q-tip and add a drop of makeup remover. Lightly go over the unneeded pencil marks, and wipe off the excess with a dry q-tip. Be careful as not to wipe away too much. Step Four: After you’ve penciled in your brows to perfection, the final step is to blend. When doing your eyebrows, it’s important to have them look as natural and symmetrical as possible. Blend in any hard lines of the pencil by using an eyebrow brush, and voila! Your bold, beautiful eyebrows are ready to go.
