April 8, 2016 Opinion People of Central On what it’s like living in America: When I got to America, I didn’t speak a word of English. I only had a year and six months to learn it. It was very scary, but I challenged myself. Look at me now, I am talking to you in English and I am graduating next year. After I graduate, I hope to get married, get a job and have kids in America. When my kids get a little older, I will go back home. That way, my kids will know both cultures and they will not have to go through what I went through.
