January 30, 2018 Drinks, Drinks, Food, Food & Beverage, Restaurants CMU Students Try The DC Dog Challenge Story by Chanda Crenshaw, Video by Dylan Flanigan Watch as Central Michigan University students Taylor Turnbull and Andrew Carter take on the DC challenge at Dog Central. The DC challenge is the most popular hot dog challenge out of four at Dog Central in which students attempt to try. This challenge consists of eating three foot long hot dogs with chilli and adding two additional toppings of your choice, a bed of Dog Central’s signature fries, a stack of onion rings and a 20 oz. fountain drink. If you successfully complete the challenge in 25 minutes or less the meal is free, plus $10 for your hard work. If not, you pay for the tab — $25 dollars. So far, there have only been 10 wins… and 157 losses. Will these students succeed or fail? Let’s take a look.
