October 27, 2014 Style, Trend and Beauty Fall in love with these Autumn Scents Fall is the perfect season to experiment with a new perfume or signature scent. Gone are the summer florals and beach scents in favor of autumn aromas, such as pumpkin spice, apple pie and burning leaves. Having a signature scent for each season can add an extra splash of fun to your ensemble. When people get a whiff of you, they will get inspired by your signature seasonal scent to go find their own. Visit stores such as Bath and Body Works to test out the season’s collection of fall scents. 1. Wild Madagascar Vanilla This sweet yet spicy scent is perfect for fall. The vanilla scent is similar to the classic “Warm Vanilla Sugar” scent but it has a definite wild side. Along with Madagascar vanilla, it includes notes of pear, clementine and sandalwood. 2. Pumpkin Spice Latte & Marshmallow Not only can you drink pumpkin spice lattes in the fall, now you can smell like them, too. This creamy, sugary scent smelled good enough to eat. It is a sweet, comforting aroma and also has notes of fresh nutmeg, ginger and vanilla. 3. Pear & Cashmere Woods If you’re looking for a scent that is both refreshing and cozy like your favorite sweater, this is it, This blend of bartlett pear, amber and fig made for a fruity scent with a fall twist. 4. Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin This fall scent is as sweet and warm as pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. It doesn’t really smell like pumpkin, but the notes of spiced vanilla, ginger snap and cinnamon make for the perfect fall scent. 5. Plum Moscato & Almond Who knew plums and almonds would remind you of fall? This combination is an interesting blend of fruit, floral and spice – much like the wine it’s named after. It also includes notes of blackcurrant, peony and lily blossom. 6. Honey Crisp Apple & Buttered Rum It’s a little known fact that Honeycrisp apples are the most delicious fall apples, and this scent exudes everything great about them. The mix of apples and buttered rum make for a fruity and creamy scent. It includes additional notes of raspberry nectar, orange blossom and golden amber.
