Blue Gator has become a big hang out for most college students on Friday nights because of the darts, pool and relaxed environment it provides.

Noted as famous actor Jeff Daniels’ favorite Mount Pleasant bar, The Bird has become a favorite among students at Central Michigan University. From the rustic environment to the good food or the drink specials, there’s a reason why students say, “The Bird is the word.”

Marty’s Bar

Blackstone is a classic hole-in-the-wall bar with great specials ranging from cheap beer to strong islands. With an upbeat environment and plenty of seating, the Blackstone is a popular hang out to meet some friends and have a few drinks after a long week.

The Cabin

Moving closer toward CMU’s campus, there are a few popular bars students find themselves at during the week, including The Cabin. This bar is best known for its pizza and cabin sticks.

The Cabin has a great environment to hang out with friends, listen to live bands, sing karaoke and sip on a tasty Long Island. Wednesday nights are the most popular with their famous $.50 beer special being a draw for many college students.
