Apparel for Every Holiday Party

The start of the holiday season also entails the start of party season with many social gatherings to attend, even before the biggest bash of them all – New Year’s Eve.

Since these holiday festivities take place only once a year, we strive to look our best for our family and friends, and finish out our year with a bang. Here are a few different looks to spice up your winter-party wardrobe and celebrate the season in style.

For these casual parties, we like to look stylish and cute, but not over the top.

A solid skater skirt will give your outfit a classy look, while adding a sweater or long-sleeve shirt will add a casual touch. With weather so cold, you will of course want to wear tights to keep your legs warm.

For shoes, a pair of black, clunky heels will tie the sweater and skirt combination together.

Finish up your look with a dazzling red lip and a chunky scarf to keep the look sophisticated, yet cool.

At this type of holiday gathering, the uglier your ensemble, the better.

This outfit is essentially self-explanatory, however, we want to give our fashionistas the option for a different twist.

First, acquire an ugly sweater, of course. Pair your sweater with some skinny jeans and sleek black boots for a trendier look and a fun and simple way to show off holiday cheer.

The End of the Year Work Party

Attending a work party sometimes calls for business casual, but spice it up with chic sophistication when mingling with co-workers.

Start with some leather leggings and a bold, sparkly top. To tie together the chic look, add a classy blazer to the mix, along with a pair of fancy, ankle wrap heels. Add your finishing touches – a bold watch or a snazzy necklace.

The Glitzy Holiday EventsScreen Shot 2015-11-22 at 7.46.26 PM

This look won’t pertain to all, however, there are many formal events that take place during the holiday season, such as the Toys-for-Tots Gala, large company holiday parties and formal holiday plays.

Since you can’t go wrong with the color red during the end of November and December, start with a long, ruby-red gown. We un-doubtfully will want to incorporate a stunning pair of heels and jewelry to this outfit.

To complete the look, a simple gold clutch is all you need to hold your phone and lipstick.

The Glamorous New Year’s Eve

On the last day of 2015, put all of this year’s fashion on the line with a stunning outfit to ring in the new year.

A flashy long-sleeve romper paired with black tights and black heels will create

the perfect NYE ensemble. Add a bulky necklace (maybe with chunky stones to bring the silver ball into your look) and keep lips kissable with a nude shade. Finally, get your champagne ready for the countdown!
