On her biggest self hurdle this year at Central Michigan University:

“Last year I had a really close relationship with everyone in my dorm. I literally bought Christmas presents for everyone in the whole hall. This year everyone has been super secluded and to themselves. The amount of people I’ve met and made friends with compared to last year is very, very little. I’m a super social person, so when I walk around and don’t know anybody, it’s really frustrating. What I’ve had to do is reconnect with old friends and people I haven’t talked to in a while.”
