January 23, 2015 Events, Students Photo Story: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace March and Vigil Peace. That’s what Central Michigan University students and Mount Pleasant community members gathered to promote on Monday. As a march in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. began at the Bovee University Center and continued throughout campus, students and residents alike aimed to remind those around them why he was, and still is, such an important figure for change.
