November 17, 2014 Campus Fashion, Student Styles, Style Fall Style Statements: What does your style say about you? Do you ever wonder what inspires people to dress the way they do? Grand Central explored this question by talking to Central Michigan University students about their personal styles. The first, and maybe the most important question we asked students was, “Why do you think style is important?” As you’ll see in the video above, answers varied anywhere from self-expression to first impressions. Some students said style was fun, while others said it was imperative to help show professionalism. We see hundreds of students pass by us with unique styles each day, but we never stop to think about what inspires people to dress the way they do. That is, until now.
