With everything going on in the world, sometimes the best thing to do is turn on a movie and escape reality for a couple of hours. Thankfully, Netflix has a great collection of feel-good movies that will make your heart smile. 1. Step Brothers This movie about two grown men being forced to live together after their single parents cross paths is one of the greatest comedies of the past. Step Brothers is a classic that will have the entire room laughing hysterically. 2. Someone Great We’ve all watched that one movie that makes us cry and laugh at the same time; this is one of them. Though this movie is initially about a blindsided breakup, it became a hit among viewers because it shows the realness and beauty of change. 3. Freedom Writers When a dedicated teacher is assigned a class of students who are deemed troubled and incapable of learning, their lives are changed. Based on a true story, it will without a doubt make you cry and celebrate at the same time. 4. The Pursuit of Happyness The Pursuit of Happyness is a movie that shows the hardships of a homeless and struggling single father. This film sends a great message of never giving up despite the difficult roadblocks you may face in life. 5. A Cinderella Story Sam, better known as Hilary Duff, won’t let her evil stepmom and stepsisters get in the way of finding the boy of her dreams. While this movie came out in 2004, it’s a great way to relive a good part of your childhood.
