Gallery: Students and Community Members Gather for Candlelight Vigil in Show of Support to MSU

Several Central Michigan University organizations sponsored a candlelight vigil in front of the CMU seal in the Warriner mall on CMU’s campus in Mount Plesant, Mich., on Feb. 15th, 2023. The event was a show of support for those affected by the Michigan State University shooting.

Candles were lit at 8:18 to commemorate the time when the first shots were fired on MSU’s campus on Feb. 13th, 2023. Participants stood in the center of the crowd to speak out against gun violence and address how it has affected them.
