Staples said her favorite fall style is a cardigan with skinny jeans or black leggings.

“My favorite cardigan outfit that I saw on Pinterest is a navy blue cardigan with blue skinny jeans and Sperry top-siders,” Staples said.

Another cardigan style that has been seen on Pinterest is pairing a fun floral dress with an earth colored cardigan and brown riding boots. This outfit is perfect for the transition from summer to fall. You can also dress this outfit up with jewelry and a belt.

Another popular fall trend on Pinterest is oversized sweaters. There are a variety of different ways to wear an oversized sweater, but the most frequent style on Pinterest is matching an oversized sweater with a hat, infinity scarf and boots.

Oversized sweaters are perfect for chilly days. They’re warm, comfortable and when they’re paired with the right accessories, they can make for a great fall outfit.

The best way to wear an oversized sweater is to match it with a knit hat and a brown or black pair of mid-high boots. For those extra chilly days, you can add a scarf to the outfit.
