January 25, 2016 Drinks, Drinks, Recipes The Monday Mix: RumChata Hot Chocolate Do you ever feel too old to drink hot chocolate? It’s not like you’re a child anymore who just went sledding all day and has to beg their mom for extra marshmallows and whipped cream, however, you are a college student who just trudged across campus all day, likely in need of a warm drink. So, the answer is no, you are not too old to drink hot chocolate. In fact, now, you may be fortunately old enough to drink a spiked one – RumChata Hot Chocolate. Besides, after a long, cold Monday, everyone should treat themselves to as much whipped cream and marshmallow toppings as they’d like. (Or in this case, as much RumChata they need). Ingredients: 1 steaming cup of Hot Cocoa (Swiss Miss) 2-ounces of RumChata Marshmallows and/or whipped cream Recipe: In a glass, prepare the hot cocoa. Add the hot chocolate mix with hot water or milk. Pour the 2-ounces of RumChata in your drink. If you want a stronger, sweeter hot chocolate, add in more RumChata. Stir the drink and top it off with marshmallows and whipped cream. Enjoy!
