November is also an important month for the movie industry because some of the most anticipated movies debut this month. These movies are guaranteed to get you out of the house and leave you on the edge of your seat. 1. Harriet If you’re looking for an inspirational, historical and action-packed film, look no further than Harriet. The film travels back to a darker time in history. It focuses on abolitionist Harriet Tubman and her personal struggle to fight not only for her own freedom but for the freedom of others. This movie focuses on one of the most influential women in history and is in theaters now. 2. The Good Liar The Good Liar is a classic thriller where con artist Ian McKellan has plans to swindle a wealthy widow played by Helen Mirren. Things are not as easy as he had hoped, and he must keep up his charade while escaping dangers and suspicion of those involved. As expected of a thriller, this film will have you on the edge of your seat after its release on Nov. 15. 3. Charlie’s Angels This action-packed reboot of the classic franchise will star Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinski and Naomi Scott as the trio of female spies otherwise known as angels. Both fans and newcomers can find something to enjoy with this new installment. See the angels in action on Nov. 15. 4. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Everyone that has seen Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood has a special place in their heart for the movie. In honor of Fred Rogers, the film focuses on the true friendship between Mister Rogers and journalist Tom Junod. This heartwarming film stays true to the original personality and message of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. See this film in your neighborhood on Nov. 22. 5. Knives Out Everyone loves a good murder mystery film, and Knives Out is a prime example of one. Written and directed by Rian Johnson, this modern day interpretation of the popular board game Clue begins with the discovery of a renowned crime novelist found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday. Daniel Craig stars as the inquisitive detective tasked with uncovering the truth surrounding the mysterious death. See if you can guess the killer on Nov. 27.
