Taste Test: Students Try the Beyond Burger

Last week, student Advocates For Vegetarianism and Veganism fired up their grill and handed out free vegan burgers on campus. The Beyond Burger is a plant-based burger that has become widely popular around the globe for being an alternative to beef burgers.

The burger, which looks like raw meat to start, is packaged in a clear container. Once grilled, the patty gets golden brown with a pink center, completely mimicking the appearance of a traditional beef burger. Watch as these students react to trying the Beyond Burger for the first time.
