Central Michigan University now has a chapter of the pro-gun group, Students for Concealed Carry. The group advocates for the removal of “safe zones,” in which they, as licensed handgun carriers, are not allowed to carry. To have a license to carry, an individual must attend and pass handgun safety training, have complete medical and criminal background checks, and follow a long list of rules to keep from losing their license.
