December 28, 2015 Drinks, Drinks, Recipes The Monday Mix: Moscow Mule If you’re anything like us, chances are you’re over the eggnog and peppermint flavored cocktails. So, getting back to basics is a must as the the new year approaches. A classic drink is the Moscow Mule. This cocktail is the perfect transition from those sweet and minty Christmas drinks to the oncoming New Year’s Eve bubbly. A fresh taste might just be the palate cleanse everyone needs right now, and after few sips of this concoction it may become your frequent bar order. Ingredients: 1/2 ounce of lime juice 2-ounces of vodka 4-6 ounces of ginger beer fresh lime (optional) Recipe: In a 12-ounce chilled glass or Moscow Mule copper mug add a few ice cubes. Then pour in the lime juice and vodka. Next, fill the glass or mug with cold ginger beer. Stir the ingredients up and garnish with a fresh lime wedge for extra flavor. Enjoy!
