Third-year model Anna Cerimele shares some of her experiences with the show. Collection made by Holly Klaus Cerimele is currently attending her senior year at Central Michigan University. As a fashion merchandising student with a minor in marketing, Cerimele’s dream job is to be a retail buyer. Collection made by Holly Klaus Cerimele’s first year modeling was for a friend. “We had a class together and she asked me to do it,” Cerimele said. With this being Cerimele’s third year modeling, she has gotten to know the ropes of the show. “I started modeling and being a part of the show because of all of the great things I heard about it when I was a part of the Fashion Association of Merchandising and Design,” Cerimele said. In order to be a part of the show, potential models have to go to a model call where a designer selects them afterwards. “You also have to attend mandatory model practices throughout the semester before the show,” Cerimele said. On the day of the show, the models are together and spend the entire day rehearsing and learning the choreography. “The day of the show is very crazy but so exciting,” Cerimele said. Collection made by Holly Klaus Getting involved with the Threads Fashion Show is one thing Cerimele was glad to do. “It is a great experience to meet new people and also something cool to put on a resume that you were a part of,” Cerimele said.
