But if you are looking for something new to experience, Dog Central is the place to be. This unique hot dog eatery will have you coming back for more – and here’s why. 1. Menu Dog Central offers a large selection of creative concoctions that will satisfy everyone’s cravings. From hot dogs topped with macaroni and cheese and Fritos to a plain “Raw Dog,” there’s something for everyone. They also offer a “Whatever Dog,” which gives you the option to make your own creation. Even vegetarians have a place here, with the always famous, “Veggie Dog,” at no additional charge. 2. Location Dog Central is conveniently located in downtown Mount Pleasant at 111. E. Michigan Street – just a short walk from all the bars downtown. Its location makes it a destination place on your next bar hop. 3. Hours Late night cravings is what this eatery thrives on – literally. Dog Central comes alive after dark. Popularly known for their legendary late nights, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. until 3 a.m., Thursday through Saturday, serving hundreds of students, and 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. 4. Specials Every Tuesday, Dog Central offers $5 baskets all day long. This includes any dog, small beer-battered fries and a 20-ounce Coke freestyle drink.
